What do the Course Numbers Mean?
NESC Academy Home > Help > NESC Academy Help > What do the Course Numbers Mean?
Within the NESC Academy Web site, course numbers are used to designate each course and are determined by the year and abbreviation of the course.
An example course number would be: W07-PA01.
The "W" indicates that this is an online course. Classroom courses will not have this designation.
The "07" indicates the year the course was given, 2007. For online courses, this is the year of the original classroom course.
The "PA" indicates the course, in this case "Power & Avionics". These abbreviations are determined by the NESC Academy Logistics Coordinator.
The "01" indicates the iteration of the course, in this case, the first time the course was offered.
